Recent projects across Surrey and Sussex. Each of these was set out from the room it went into, made and then fitted by the same pair of hands.
Open-plan kitchen and living space
A navy shaker kitchen with an oak-topped island, oak posts and beams left exposed, and a herringbone floor laid through the whole space. The last two shots show the floor going down.
Media wall and feature shelving
A slatted media wall built around an existing fireplace with oak shelves and cabinets either side, and a set of feature shelves finished against a patterned back.
Fitted wardrobes and alcove joinery
Wardrobes with integrated TV units and drawers, a walk-in wardrobe fitted out with shelving, drawers and hanging space, and alcove shelving with cupboards below, all scribed into the rooms they were built for.
Wall panelling and display shelving
Shaker wall panelling run through whole rooms, with display shelving and cupboards built over the top and lighting set into the shelves. Shown here from first fix through to the finished room.
Period property joinery
Timber windows made and fitted into a period gable, with the apex detail, finial and reveals matched to what was already there, and exterior joinery on a period shop front. Some of it off scaffold.
Doors and painted joinery
Glazed and panelled doors made up on the bench, painted and hung, with one shown partway through the making.
Home gym fit-out
Slatted walls, oak bench seating and concealed lighting in a converted home gym.
Kitchen fitting
Shaker kitchens fitted from scratch, units set level and doors aligned throughout, including one shown partway through the fit.
Bathroom refit
A full bathroom refit with a walk-in shower, vanity unit and heated rail, tiled and finished throughout.
Commercial kitchen fit-out
A commercial kitchen fitted out for a business client, with purpose-made worktop units and housings built to the room.
Garden gate and surround
A garden gate and surround built to the opening and hung so it closes true.
Structural carpentry and first fix
Stud partitions, floor joists and stair and loft openings framed out square and left ready for the trades that follow.
