A kitchen is only as good as the fitting. Flat-pack or ready-built, I set the base units level, scribe the end panels and plinths to the floor and walls, and hang the doors so the gaps are even all the way along. It's the difference between a kitchen that looks fitted and one that looks put together.
Bathroom vanity units, cabinets and boxing-in get the same care, cut to fit the space and sealed off neatly so they stand up to a wet room.
